Desire and Conscience

To seek for the conscience one has to seek in the heart, in the very core of our being, in the very core of our existence. It is in the depths of the soul that one will find the conscience. Conscience lives in the heart, and not in desires.

Normally life is lived from one desire to the next, and sometimes it may be in conflict with the conscience. But when conscience and desire come together, it is a truer existence, it is a powerful existence, it is a deeper existence – more profound. And yet desires can be so overwhelming and the conscience only a faint voice crying in the wilderness…

To proceed to a truer existence our desire should be in harmony with our conscience. Our conscience will lead us to the divine, while desires will lead us to anywhere and everywhere! To seek the nobility of the conscience is to raise one’s existence to a profundity, to a dignity and sacredness.

Life begins with desires, but finds its truer existence when conscience is found and brought into play. Conscience and desire can make for perfect harmony in life.

To be awake to one’s conscience is to be awake to one’s deeper Self. It is to be authentic to all that which is noble in oneself – noble and true. Desires can be so overwhelming, so compelling, while conscience just a faint cry in the wilderness.

Life begins with desires; as it evolves further it comes in touch with the conscience. Life without desires is not life, and yet, life without conscience is life that is vain. Conscience raises desire to a more authentic existence.

Your conscience is your soul; conscience lives in the heart. When conscience and desire are in harmony, life is overjoyed – it is blessedness. And yet when desires are in discord with the conscience it is truly a painful existence: there is no peace; there is no harmony in one’s being. To awaken to one’s conscience is to awaken to our deeper Self, to a truer, more authentic existence.

Desires and conscience can make a beautiful dance in one’s life when they are in harmony; and yet when they are in discord, it is truly a painful existence – there is no peace. To have all of one’s being in harmony is to be divine: it is to be true to oneself and to all else.

Your desire is your power; your conscience your very soul. When the soul rules the power it can raise itself to great heights, to great depths. But when power rules over the soul, there is the risk of losing one’s depth, one’s height. Corruption and degeneration can soon follow.

Life begins with desires and seeks fulfilment in every corner. But it is only when it finds its conscience that it has found its depth and direction – a more authentic existence, a truer existence, a nobler existence. Conscience and desire, when they live together in harmony, it is a great blessedness. Life then is truly noble and arrives to its own sacredness.

To live from one’s conscience is to live in dignity, is to dignify one’s life. To live from one’s desires is to continue life’s march – and yet when conscience comes into play, life is truly starting to be lived. Life then reaches to a deeper existence, a more profound existence. It is a transition to discover one’s divinity.

To find the conscience is to find compassion. Desires take one far and wide; conscience is deep and profound. To have both in harmony is to raise life to divinity; is to live deeply, consciously, compassionately. Life then is beautiful; life then moves from being superficial to being truly profound, authentic and liberating – self-liberating. To integrate and harmonize both desire and conscience generates great power, great energy; brings great strength to the soul.

And when there is great power, great energy, great strength, there is great action, greater life, greater joy, greater freedom, greater fulfilment – greater manifestation. Let there be harmony in one’s self through one’s desires, through one’s conscience, through the integration of one’s being and lived through one’s life.

In the desires seek for conscience, and from your conscience live out the desires, live out life and its expressions.

Life begins with desires and yet when life has found its conscience, it becomes a deeper existence, a greater existence, a truer existence. There is great power then, a greater fulfilment, and great depth.

Conscience is the soul; desire is power. The power without the soul expends itself very quickly, it has no depth, it exhausts itself very quickly; while desire and conscience together make for Eternity, make for great depth. In those moments life touches Eternity – for it has a soul.

Desire is body; conscience is the soul. Through the body the soul expresses itself; without the soul the body dies quickly. Desires have no depth without conscience and therefore very little power, very little energy. Your conscience is the soul to your desires. Together they make for a more complete living, a deeper existence, a more profound existence.

Life lived without conscience is meaningless; it is conscience that gives meaning to life’s desires. For desires to be meaningful there must be a joining to the conscience. When desires are in harmony, in symphony, in rhythm with the conscience, there is great joy, great freedom – great expression.

Life begins with desires, from desires; but it is only when it is awakened to its conscience that it awakens to itself, to a deeper, profounder existence. That life has a soul! To live life then is to live the gifts of God, is to live in the blessedness of Existence.

Desires further life to a greater field of action. So when living one’s desires, feel for the conscience – then there is greater living, greater fulfilment – a truer life – a deeper life. A life of desires is life alright – and yet, when life is awakened to its conscience it is a deeper life, it is a deeper desire, a greater life, a superior – deeper existence.

Life is evolving to its conscience all the time, and therefore to a greater and greater manifestation. The animal lives from desire, from hunger; the humans are awake to the conscience, while the divine lives from the conscience. The animal evolves to the human; the human evolves to the divine.

In the animal there is the power of desires, the human is awake to the power of conscience, while in the divine, the power of conscience is lived, expressed, manifested – and reaches to fulfilment. To be in desires is to live; to be in conscience is to live a greater desire, a deeper desire; it is to be awake to oneself, to be aware of all the parts of the Being, to be aware of all the parts of oneself, and to be in harmony – then the whole of oneself is a great gift. And from there to grow, evolve, manifest, and to live gives meaning to life – it is the meaning of life.

Live freely; live in harmony with yourself and all things that surround you.

To live life’s desires and yet seek its depth, its conscience, is to give it a soul, is to live in sacredness. Be free to live life: it is a great gift, it is blessedness – and yet seek always to live it in sacredness.

There is a rhythm to your being – the rhythm of your life, the rhythm of your personality, your person, developed through lifetimes. Behind and beyond is a greater rhythm – the rhythm of all Existence. The rhythm that is developed through lifetimes can be changed, altered, transformed, increased to a greater field of action, a greater rhythm, a greater field of expression. The way is through meditation. To be able to live it is a great gift. All life is a great gift.

There is no end to your life – no end to freedom. Your life is a gift of sacredness, any and every moment. When we say ‘superior existence’, what we mean is only in the degree of manifestation. Otherwise, all is potential in each and everyone, in each and every thing, even so in the stone.

All is One Reality; all is the Divine – the difference lies in the degree of manifestation, in making itself more or less visible. To awaken to this and carry on is the meaning of life.

Live your desires; live your conscience. Each time seek a greater living: a greater living comes from a greater seeking in yourself.

Live and be free! Awaken to your own greatness. In that greatness you will find your conscience, your compassion. Be true to yourself – and yet be true to all that surrounds you. Be unique and universal at the same time!

Desires are the way of life – and yet it has to awaken to its own conscience to live more deeply, to live more truly.

Desires increase life, and conscience deepens it.

Life that has found itself has awakened to its own conscience. And life that has awakened to its conscience has found itself. In its conscience life finds greater living, a greater desire.

Live freely – live deeply. Life is a great gift.

To have found life in its depth is to have found life’s sacredness. To find life’s sacredness, meditation is the way.

Meditation is the whole of your life. Every moment, every act of one’s life can be an offering made unto and into the fire of meditation. When life is lived in such a way, truly has life found its sacredness.

Life begins with desires, from desires – and yet it is conscience that gives it depth, meaning, and fulfilment, a greater fulfilment.

Desire is life’s body; conscience is its very soul. Live and be free. Without desires there is no life – and yet without conscience there is no soul. To desire without conscience is to repeat endlessly, is to exhaust repeatedly; while desires with conscience gives meaning and brings life to fulfilment.

Desires that have awakened to their conscience are desires transformed; is life transformed to a greater life, greater desires – deeper life, deeper desires.

To live from one’s conscience is better than to live only from one’s desires. When there is the sanction of the conscience to the desire, there is fulfilment to the whole being. But when there is no sanction from the conscience there can be conflict, and existence then remains a mundane exercise, a meaningless repetition.

Live freely – live deeply. Desire is the way of life; conscience is its soul. Let the desires awaken to their own conscience, that they may find meaning and fulfilment, that they may find depth and liberation.

Live freely – live deeply. Live the rhythm of your life, your Being – awaken to your self. Awaken to your person – awaken to your personality. Be awake to your desires, your passions, your emotions, your feelings, your thoughts.

Be awake to your conscience, be awake to your limitations and be awake to your capacities. Be free in your awakening.

Live freely – live deeply. Live sacred.
