On top of the World through the help of the breathing

We’ll do the breathing.

Long breath,

Breathe in, breathe out,

Breathe in, breathe out.

Keep the rhythm going.

Rhythm of your breath, rhythm of your soul.

If you breathe properly it will rejuvenate you,

It makes you young,

It gives you many more years of life.

 

Back straight,

Bring the chest out slightly,

Lift up the spine.

If you lift it all the day then

You’ll feel on top of the world,

Then you’re on top of things,

You are on top of situations.

Otherwise situations get on top of you

And then you collapse,

You get frustrated, unhappy.

This is the secret of happiness –

To be on top of the world

Through the help of the breathing.

Breathe long and deep.

You are greater than any situation,

But you have to develop that –

In your body, in your mind, in your soul.

 

Long deep breath

Watch the breathing as you breathe in and breathe out.

Be conscious of your breathing as you breathe in and breathe out.

Be conscious of your thoughts or whatever that comes up,

But keep letting them go.

Don’t attach yourself to them.

Watch over them.

They’re just passing movements,

They’re like passing clouds in the sky,

The sky of your being

and you are a witness on to them,

An observer.

While you fill in with your breathing

the chest will come out first and then the belly.

When you empty out the belly will go in first and then the chest.

Watch this movement.

It’ll bring about focus, centeredness

And it will make you happy within;

It’ll rejuvenate you, energize you.

This is the secret, this is the elixir of life.

To begin the day in this way is to live a great and healthy life, a beautiful life.

The practice must continue,

Kept to daily, regularly.

 

Breathe in, breathe out.

The rhythm of your breath is the rhythm of your life.

Rhythmic breathing is extremely healthy,

It increases your life span,

It gives you many, many more years of life –

Good, healthy, beautiful life,

Happy, joyous life,

For it will energize you within.

It will energize your brain cells, the cells of your body,

Increase your vitality.

You will have an uplifting feeling,

You will feel on top of the world.

 

So breathe in, breathe out,

Breathe in, breathe out.

Keep that rhythm going.

It is music,

Music of the soul,

A silent music,

A silent symphony.

Then your every act outside becomes a concerto.

Fill up completely, empty out completely.

Breathe in, breathe out.

It’s your life,

It keeps you alive.

Breathing is what keeps you alive

And if you know how to breathe,

you know how to live.

The breath can immortalize you.

So learn how to breathe –

Breathe in, breathe out,

Breathe in, breathe out,

Breathe in, breathe out.

 

We will chant for ten minutes,

We will chant the Gayatri Mantra.

 

Take a deep breath each time before you chant

At the end of each round of chanting empty out your breath completely

And then fill up and begin the next round.

 

 

Om Bhur Bhuvaha Svaha

Om Tat Sat Savitur Vareniam

Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi

Dhiyo Yo Naha Prachodayat

 

(After 10 Minutes:)

Gradually draw yourself in through the help of the chant.

 

Now in silence continue with your breathing,

Through the breathing be centered in yourself.

Our Force will continue to work in you –

You will feel a pressure in the chest, in the spine,

In the middle of your back;

Pressure in the head, forehead.

 

Breathe in, breathe out.

Be centered in yourself.

Thoughts come up,

whatever that comes up allow them to pass,

They are no concern of yours,

Our Force will continue to work in you.
