Refuge Within Oneself

Vigorous Breathing.

Feel the lightness.

Go inside yourself.

Relax.

Rhythmic Breathing.

Breathe long, breathe deep.

Be aware that you are breathing,

As the observer.

Finally take a long breath,

And then as you breathe out, relax with it.

Relax completely in body,

As you let go of the breath, relax.

Go inside.

As you relax you go within,

Behind thought, beyond thought,

The witness within yourself.

Relaxed in the mind,

Relaxed within yourself.

Take refuge within yourself.

Take shelter.

Dharmam Sharanam Gachchhami

I take refuge in the dharma,

I take refuge in the truth of my being.

Sangham Sharanam Gachchhami

I take refuge in the fraternity of seekers who seek with me.

Maonam Sharanam Gachchhami.

I take refuge in the silence of my being.

I have taken refuge in myself.

I am at peace with myself.

You are at peace.

You are at peace with yourself.

Divyam Sharanam Gachchhami.

I take refuge in the divine heart within myself.

You are in harmony.

You can get inside yourself.

There is always an observer.
