We take to the breathing.

Vigorous breathing followed by the Rhythmic breathing.

To energise and harmonize.

Breathe in, breathe out.

Stay with the breathing.

Watch over it.

The longer the breath, the better it is.

Stand behind, stay with the breathing.

Through the breathing, be centred and reach to a stop in yourself.

Equal inbreath, equal outbreath –

Strong enough to keep you energised.

We chant the Gayatri Mantra now.

Take a deep, long and strong breath each time before you chant.

At the end of each round of chanting, empty out of breath completely.

Be with the chant throughout.

Dhiyo Yonaha Pracodayad

 

‘May the glorious light of Savitri, Godly light,

Illumine the whole of our being,

Go back to yourself and to the breathing for five minutes.

It will centre you, draw you in – bring you to a stop in yourself.

Through the stop reach into your heart, reach to meditation.

Then we will follow it up with Jagriti, Awakening and Abhishek, Anointment Kriya.

 

Keep to the breathing – the longer the breath, the better it is.

Fill up completely, empty out completely –

Strong enough to keep you energised.

It will keep you alert; it will keep you sharp –

And it will keep you awake.

You should be able to hear it.

It will centre you, keep you centred –

And it will keep you stopped in yourself.

The third centre, Manipura.

The heart, middle of the chest, Anahata.

Take a deep, long, strong breath each time before you start sounding.

Breathe into and out from the centre.

We move up to the fifth centre, the throat – Vishudha.

Take a deep, long, strong breath before you start sounding,

And empty out of breath completely after each round of sounding.

The throat, Vishudha.

Be centred in the heavens above the head, as high as you can be.

Now we start coming down with Abhishek, Anointment.

Be stopped in the heavens through the breathing.
