Jagriti/Abhishek Meditation Rebound
We will do the breathing.
Vigorous breathing, strong breathing –
The stronger, the better.
The stronger it is, the better it is –
You will arrive at the lightness quicker.
Follow up with the rhythmic breathing –
Left side, Chandra nadi, the moon side, Ida.
Then the right side, Surya nadi, the sun side, Pingala.
Then alternate – Sushumna.
It has to be long – the longer, the better – deep;
Strong enough to be able to hear it –
It will keep you energized.
Keep the breathing long and deep –
Through the breathing to arrive at an inner quietness.
Feel for the quietness, reach to meditation.
One side, then the other; then alternate.
Thoughts come up – allow them to pass.
They are no concern of yours.
Long breath – the longer, the better.
Deep breath.
Long breath, deep breath, strong breath.
Whatever that comes up – allow them to pass.
Through the breathing to be centred in yourself –
Through being centred to reach to meditation.
Enter deep in yourself.
We will chant for ten minutes.
We will chant the Gayatri.
Take a deep, long breath each time before you chant.
At the end of each round of chanting –
Empty out of breath completely.
Chanting the Gayatri Mantra:
Om Bhur Bhuvaha Svaha
Om Tat Sat Savitur Vareniam
Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi
Dhiyo Yonaha Prachodayat
May the glorious light of Savitri, Godly light,
Illumine the whole of our Being,
Awaken to light the whole of our Self.
This is a prayer.
Gradually draw yourself in –
Through the help of the chant –
Reducing the volume.
Now continue with the breathing in silence –
The longer, the better – deep breath, strong breath.
We will do Jagriti and Abhishek kriya,
But of a different kind –
Five minutes sounding of the first centre,
With the sound of OM –
Strong breathing, strong sounding.

Muladhar – between the anus and the genitalia.
There to open and awaken.
Feel for the Force –
The Awakening of the Force that abides in the first centre,
Rising upwards with the help of the sound in rebound –
Reaching the top of the head,
Carrying you with it,
Passing through all the centres,
And opening out into the skies –
Feel for it – feel the wideness,
The vastness of the skies –
The heavens above your head.
Feel yourself lifted above the head –
Higher each time.
This is Jagriti –
Empty out of breath completely –
Fill up completely –
Each time before the sounding.
Feel the sound, follow the sound,
All the way down to the first centre –
There to open, and awaken the force,
Rising upwards with the rebound of the sound.
It has to be strong sounding, carrying you,
Passing through all the centres upwards,
And into the skies, as high as you can go.
Five minutes.
And then ten minutes to remain in silence,
Centred above the head in the skies,
In the heavens above the head,
As high as you can be, there to open out.
Feel for Light, feel for Grace.
Feel the openness, the wideness,
And the vastness of the skies above your head.
Abhishek will be five minutes with the sound of OM –
Directed upwards first through the head and into the sky,
Then downward, passing through all the centres,
And below the first centre, deep down into the ground –
Into the sub-conscious – there to open out.
Feel the Grace descending with you, feel the Light.
Jagriti is downward and then upwards.
Abhishek is with the sound directed upwards into the sky,
And then downwards.
Feel the Grace, Light, Peace and Silence,
Descending downwards, and filling you inside –
Feel all the way down and in the body,
Passing through all the centres,
And into the sub-conscious.
Five minutes of sounding – strong sounding.
Then ten minutes in silence,
Centred in the sub-conscious, below the first centre,
As far below as you can be,
Resting in Peace, Light and Grace.
Open out in the sub-conscious.
Breathe in and out from the sub-conscious –
Long, deep and strong breathing.
This is Abhishek.
This is a worship unto yourself, unto God.
The attitude is important,
Because when the Force awakens,
It brings up many things.
It is a strong vital Force.
It needs objectivity –
It needs the right attitude,
And it needs clarity to keep you in the right attitude.
So we will begin with Jagriti – five minutes.
It has to be strong breath and strong sounding –
So that the sound reaches all the way down to the first centre,
And then can rebound upwards,
Passing through all the centres,
To the top of the head and above into the skies,
As high as you can go.
Feel the Force from the first centre rising up with the sound.
It is to initiate the awakening of the Force.
Empty out of the breath completely first –
Then you can fill up more and stronger,
And therefore the sounding will be stronger.
We will begin five minutes with Jagriti – Awakening.
OOOOOOMMMMMM.
Remember the sounding has to be prolonged –
Long and strong.
Feel it, follow it,
All the way down and upwards.
It has to be prolonged sounding.
As you feel the sound rebounding upwards,
Visualise the force in the first centre rising upwards,
Passing through all the centres,
To the top of the head,
And opening out above into the skies.

You are being with yourself and nowhere else.
It is a wonderful thing.
Be inspired unto yourself.
It is a worship unto yourself,
And unto the divine in you and the divine in all.
Feel one with it.
You are offering worship unto your own self,
Unto the divine self, and not to the ego-self.

Open your heart, feel the heart.
It is only then it becomes a worship and a devotion.
You feel the love.

Bring feeling into what you are doing.
That is what will make it effective.
It is not a mere technique, empty without life –
You can breathe life into it.
So you need to feel it, bring feelings into it.
Feel inspired, it is a wonderful thing.

Feel the movement in the spine as the Force awakens.
Feel it in the centres as it rises upwards.
Initiate it, feel it, visualise it.
Feel it in the body, feel it in your awareness,
In your consciousness, in your being – deep –
And feel it as a physical sensation also.

It is like an echo –
In the way you sound your first centre.
You direct the sound, strong sound,
Downwards into the centre,
And from there is the rebounding of the sound upwards.
At the same time you feel and visualize the Force to awaken.
And to rise upwards with the help of the sound,
Passing through all the centres up to the head and above,
Opening you out, opening the centres.
Feel it, visualise it.
Visualise the centres as Lotus flowers opening out,
As the Force passes through each centre.
It is very colourful –
Visualise – use your imagination.
Be creative.
In that way the mind is also occupied,
And it will be effective if you believe in it –
If you trust in what you are doing.
Bring in the feelings –
Feel inspired with the worship.

Empty out your breath completely.

Energise through the sounding.
The more you invest, the stronger the sounding,
More is the inspiration –
The more is the possibility of the awakening.

Feel as if all the centres are getting energised –
Through the sounding,
And through the awakening of the Force.
They are like lotuses, real living lotuses opening out.
Feel the energy, feel the Force.

You feel the centres each time,
As you pass downwards with the sounding,
And you feel them as you rise upwards,
With the echo of the sound,
And the awakening of the Force.
OOOOOOMMMMMM
You are totally centred in yourself and in what you are doing.
OOOOOOMMMMMM
Now ten minutes in silence.
You are feeling all the centres,
You are feeling the Force,
You feel the silence,
Be centred in yourself.
Whatever else that comes up,
Thoughts – whatever, allow them to pass –
They do not concern you –
You do not concern yourself with them.
You are a witness.
Be centred in yourself –
Feeling the Force, feeling the centres,
Feeling yourself being totally charged –
Energised – feel your heart.
Feel the charge all the way up into the sky,
And down to the first centre.
Feel the charge all around you, feel the aura.
Feel the body charged up, energised –
Because of the sounding and the awakening of the Force.
Feel the charge in the spine.
Feel the whole body tingling with the energy.
That is how it is when the Force awakens.
You have to initiate it.
This is how it happens naturally when the Force awakens.
Through this meditation,
We are trying to initiate that process,
And therefore Jagriti – Awakening.
You are aware of everything,
And you feel the charge –
Inside, outside on the body.
Feel it in the spine and all the way up and down.
Breathing continues to be long and deep –
Strong enough to be able to hear it.
You feel totally at peace with yourself,
And you feel charged in yourself,
In the body, in the spine and in the centres.
The centres are like open lotus flowers,
And you feel the connection –
All the way with the cosmos and beyond,
All the way upward above your head,
And down to the first centre,
And even so below into the sub-conscious.
You are like one awakened awareness in your being.
It is a worship unto yourself, feel it.
It is a worship unto God, feel it.
Keep the breathing long and deep,
Strong enough to be able to hear it.
It will keep you charged and energised.
When you breathe in – long and deep breathing –
Let it reach all the way down to the first centre,
And as you breathe out,
Feel the breathing all the way upwards,
Passing through all the centres,
To the top of the head and above,
And that way the charge is maintained,
And the energy is maintained –
And you stay with what you are doing.
We will do Abhishek now,
The reverse of what we did.
We will direct the sound upwards after a strong breathing –
Through the throat, sixth centre, seventh centre –
Upwards into the sky, as high as you can go,
And then rebounding downwards –
With the Grace, Light, Peace, Silence –
All the way down,
Passing through all the centres,
Down to the first centre and even so below –
Into the subconscious below the first centre,
Energising all the centres to open and awaken.
Feel yourself and feel the whole meditation –
It is a worship unto yourself.
Feel the Grace descending.
This is Abhishek – Annointment.
We begin with Abhishek for five minutes.
Empty out the breath completely,
Then fill up completely –
Strong breathing and therefore strong sounding.

It will take a while getting used to it –
Just stay relaxed throughout and then it will become easy.
OOOOOOMMMMMM
It is an echo rebounding –
But this time it is downward from up,
Rather than upward from down.
It is the reverse of what we did in Jagriti.

The more you empty out your breath,
The easier it will be –
For you will be able to take longer and stronger breath,
And therefore longer and stronger sounding.

Feel it in the body.
Feel it in the spine.
Feel all the centres open –
Awakened and energised.

It is a worship unto yourself, unto God.
You are being anointed.
You are being blessed.

Rejoice in yourself –
Be happy with what you are doing.
It will help energise the meditation –
It will bring it to life.
It will make it real.

If you believe it to be real,
It will be real – nay, it is real.
OOOOOOMMMMMM
Feel yourself totally relaxed,
Settled in yourself, inspired in yourself,
Feel the Grace, feel the blessedness.
OOOOOOMMMMMM
You feel the Grace descending inside,
And outside in the body.
You feel it like a bathing.
You feel it inside you like a bathing –
Bathing you from the top of the head all the way down.
You feel the energy in the body –
You feel the awareness –
You feel the Peace, the Silence.
You feel the Grace, the Light.
You feel it in all the centres.
Ten minutes now in silence.
Breathe long, deep and strong,
To help continue the feeling, the worship.
But this time you reverse the breathing.
As you breathe in,
You let the breath rise upwards,
Passing through the fifth, sixth, and seventh centre upwards,
To the skies as high as you can go.
Then as you breathe out,
You descend downwards,
Reaching all the way down to the first centre,
Passing through all the centres,
With the Grace, with the Light, with the Silence,
And even so reaching down into the sub-conscious,
Below the first centre,
Deep down into the ground.
You are one being from the top of the head –
And above in the skies to all the way down –
Deep down below the first centre into the sub-conscious –
From infinity above to infinity below.
You are totally energised.
You are complete in yourself.
You are in worship, you are in joy.
You are at Peace with yourself,
And with all things and beings.
You feel the oneness.
You feel in bliss.
You are one in yourself –
All the way from the bottom to the top.
You are one with all things and beings,
Inside outside, outside inside.
If thoughts come up allow them to pass.
You are complete in yourself.
You are in Light, you are in Peace –
You are in Grace.
Long, deep, strong breathing,
As you breathe in you rise upwards through the head,
And into the skies as high as you can go,
And as you breathe out,
You descend down through all the centres,
To the first and below, down into the sub-conscious,
As far you can go, below into the earth and more.
You are mapping the whole of the reality with your breathing.
You are mapping the whole of the reality through your meditation.
For that is what you are in reality.
You are as small as you think and see yourself to be,
You are as big as you think and see yourself to be.
This is the Truth. This is the Truth about you.
You are centred in yourself, you are in meditation.
Breathing in long and deep –
Strong enough to reach you to the skies,
To the infinity on the top.
And as you breathe out, to the infinity downward –
All the way down –
Deep down below the first centre,
Passing through all the centres.
Visualise it.
When you breathe in you are rising upwards,
Fifth, sixth and seventh centre,
And above into the sky –
As high as you can go.
And as you breathe out you are descending downward,
Passing through all the centres,
Down to the first centre and below –
As far below as you can go.
