Breath to self-awareness to refuge in quietness within (V)
Bhastrika:
Short spell of quick and vigorous breathing.
Relax with the breath.
You can feel lightness.
Feel the lightness,
Relax with it.
At the same time you are aware of your breath.
From the observation of the breath,
Come to an awareness of yourself as the observer.
When you have the awareness of yourself as the observer,
You can turn your attention inwards –
You can turn inwards.
Get inside yourself.
Reach to the inner quietness.
We shall take refuge in the quiet heart of our being.
We will chant together while we reach within ourselves.
The chant shall inspire us to reach deeper within ourselves.
