Breath to Self-Awareness to Refuge in Quietness Within (III)

Allow yourself to relax.

You can consciously relax the body.

Allow the mind to relax.

You are centered within your body.

If it is not easy to relax,

you can consciously work with the various parts of the body,

and then to the mind.

As you relax the body and with the mind relaxed,

to be relaxed is to be light

and at its utmost it is as if you float.

Your body is light,

your mind is light.

You are complete in yourself.

You may be aware of the sounds outside

and yet you are totally relaxed and complete within yourself.

Your breath is slow and easy.

Again, to relax, to quieten the mind,

you can use the breath.

You can take quick breaths

and in the end long and deep rhythmic breaths.

You can observe the breath.

Come to an awareness of yourself as the observer,

observing the breath.

In that way get a hold on yourself, become aware of the observer.

And when you are with the observer,

you can reach inwards,

be with the quietness within.

Do not struggle with it.

The quietness is there.

It is in this quietness

that you will experience the workings of the force.

The observer in you

is always behind, beyond thought;

behind your own feelings, memories, even so passions.

The observer can experience all movements within itself,

within its womb as it were,

as they appear and pass away.

The energy in you must be free to move.

Be comfortable in your body, in its posture.

You can move your body, if there is discomfort,

you can even take a short stroll, to release any tension in the body

and come back to yourself.

You are aware of the quietness outside.

You can feel the quietness.

Use that quietness to relax.

Turn within yourself.

There is a quietness within yourself.

Be with that quietness.

In that quietness you are at ease.

In that quietness you can reach to your heart.

In that quietness you can take refuge.

Relax the mind,

then you shall take refuge in the quietness of yourself.

Do not struggle with anything,

allow to relax.

You can use your breath,

a few breathing exercises to relax the mind.
