Sadhana & Growth – Volume 1 – Second Edition
These are talks given by G. Aditya in the course of discussions, discourses and answering questions. They are addressed mostly to those doing sadhana around Him and thus they deal with fundamental questions regarding the spiritual journey – What is the object of sadhana? Why does it need total commitment? What attitudes are thereby required? Why is the company of a Teacher so fundamental? What does the process of sadhana entail? Which obstacles and pitfalls await one who is walking this path?
They have been recorded live and transcribed by the sadhaks. A minimal amount of editing has been done to ensure readability.
Explanation of jacket design:
The mountains represent the earth-life consciousness and nature. Its peaks and valleys depict the ascent and descent of sadhana for the full manifestation. The bird is the embodied soul in its flight to the Supreme Light represented by the Golden Sun. The white of the bird is the Spirit-soul and the brown outline the Earth-body. The entire picture depicts the Godward and God-manifest movement of the embodied soul in its ad infinitum process of sadhana.
“Sadhana and Growth” has been followed by “Sadhana and Growth vol. 2”. Though both books contain live transcribed talks they are not sequels and stand independently of each other.

Sadhana & Growth – Volume 2
These are talks given by G. Aditya in the course of discussions, discourses and answering questions. They are addressed mostly to sadhaks practicing sadhana around Him and thus they deal with fundamental questions regarding the spiritual journey. His teachings have never been exclusive of life, indeed seeking a transformation rather than an escape, and here one finds pithy guidance not only on meditation, but on dealing with issues that arise in daily interactions and activities. The correct attitudes and practices to keep the sadhak progressing despite the numerous pitfalls in each individual’s journey is explained variously – with humour and depth. Indeed, there are lessons for us all. These satsangs have been recorded live and transcribed by the sadhaks. A minimal amount of editing has been done to ensure readability.
Explanation of jacket design:
The large sunflower in the centre depicts the Teacher, the Giver of wisdom. The surrounding field of sunflowers depicts aspirants of the spiritual journey, growing, absorbing and learning from the central flower. With early morning filling the sky, and the sun shedding its luminous lustre on the scene, the entire picture is a symbolic representation of the pursuit of divine perfection under the benign glow of an ever-present Grace. The bird is the embodied soul in its flight to the Supreme Light.
“Sadhana and Growth vol. 2” follows “Sadhana and Growth”. Though both books contain live transcribed talks they are not sequels and stand independently of each other.
